Dynamic Process Group provides silicon wafer resizing (wafer coring) services for process engineers, researchers, and equipment manufacturers who need non-standard wafer sizes from existing inventory. We core or cut wafers to the exact diameter you specify, with tight tolerances on roundness and edge finish.

Why Resize Wafers?

Process development on smaller wafers reduces material cost when working with expensive substrates. Legacy tool qualification requires the exact diameter your older equipment accepts. Academic and research programs often need 25.4mm or 50.8mm wafers that are no longer commercially available as blanks. Test and calibration wafer programs require matched sets at non-standard diameters. Silicon spacers and dummy wafers are frequently sourced as resized production wafers.

Source Materials

We work from your material or from our stock. Source wafers accepted: Float zone (FZ), Czochralski (CZ), epitaxial silicon, polished prime, test grade. Flat and notch orientations preserved or recut to your specification.
